I am so over being constantly dissapointed with the interactions & relationships I have in my life. Not so much friends and family, but institutions, service organisations, governments....even restaurants and cafe's.

Somewhere out there, someone wants something from you right now (typically cash), and they honestly beleive they dont have to do anything to get it.

The secret is simple.

Lower your standards. If you expect nothing from your bank, from your newsagent, from your local council, your chances of living with ongoing dissapointment is significantly reduced. You feel less dependant, less anxious and more in control.

Become more self sufficient. Become more selective about the relationships you maintain. Close accounts, dont return to cafe's that cant make a decent cup of coffee. Start living on your terms.

Rise above the mediocrity around you, and by no means should you lower your own standards.
